Accommodations for The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia

Eligibility Requirements*
Anyone who:
- Is a patient at at a participating Division within The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
- Is an important support person (parent, sibling, family friend) to a patient who is suffering from an illness that requires hospitalization, active treatment (two appointments per week), or a second opinion.
- Has a permanent home to return to after their child’s hospitalization.
*Please Note:
- Accommodation is only available to those families who complete the application and are confirmed patients with our participating divisions at CHOP.
- Stays are capped at a 30-night maximum. However, to prevent abuse, we periodically check in with your assigned social worker to monitor the status of your child’s treatment.
- If you need additional nights after the 30-day limit, please reapply for lodging on our website and speak to your social worker.
- We consider extensions based on Aashray’s available resources, hotel availability, and family circumstances. Please don’t wait until the last day of your reservation to ask about an extension.
- Accommodation is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Aashray support covers the approved hotel lodging, parking, and the temporary hold for incidentals only.
- As per hotel policy, a credit or debit card must be placed on file for personal expenses, such as meals/snacks, transportation, and room service.
- Guests are responsible for any damage they cause to the hotel or the property of others and will be charged for any associated costs.
- Guests under eighteen must be accompanied by an adult.
- We suggest a voluntary donation of $20 per night or whatever amount you can contribute to support other families in need. (You donate directly through our website.)
- Aashray reserves the right to provide accommodations at any of our partner hotels.
